Reviews #5: Keep it Simple

The average customer will not go out of his way to leave a review (unless he has a negative experience to share.)  When you ask for a review, you should make it as easy as possible – providing a direct link to the review profile.  If a customer has to jump through a lot of hoops to leave a review, he will likely abandon the process.  When you ask for a review, the customer should be able to click on a link that leads them through a simple review process.
